Welcome!

Welcome to 'Injured Workers. That's all.'

My name is Carrie Carroll.  I am an attorney licensed in Pennsylvania*.  As you can tell from the name of this blog - I represent injured workers.  And that is all

I do not practice family law, I won't represent you in a DUI, I'll refer you to someone else to sue your neighbor over their barking dog and I won't keep you out of jail for bar fights.

I will give you the best, most personal, most zealous, most committed, most dedicated representation you could ever hope for when it comes to work place injuries.

Strained your back lifting heavy stuff at work?  Yes, I do that.  Tore your meniscus falling during a delivery?  Yes, I do that.  Injury required surgery that left a scar on your neck?  Yes, I do that.  Been blown up in a gas rig explosion?  Yes, I do that too.

If it's a legitimate work place injury, then yes, I can help you.

I am passionate about making sure that Pennsylvania workers who have been injured on the job are treated with the respect that they deserve and get the wage and medical benefits to which they are entitled.   I do not put up with nonsense from employers, insurance companies or the attorneys hired by them.

I have been an attorney since 1996 and for the past 11 years, my practice has focused on protecting the rights of injured workers.  Before then, I worked for employers - helping them comply with the rules of the Pennsylvania Workers' Comp Act and doing my best to make sure that employees were treated with fairness and respect.

My work is personal to me.  I sincerely value the relationships I build with each and every client.  It is not uncommon for me to meet clients over coffee, sharing the table with their children, parents or significant others.  I know that a work place injury does not simply affect the worker: it has an impact on the entire family.

I simply love what I do for a living.  It makes my day to meet with a client and show them how I can help - to have them leave my office understanding that I will do everything in my power to make things right for them with regard to their work injury.

I have been hugged, patted on the back and blessed by my clients simply because I'm doing my job.  Knowing that I am making a difference in people's lives . . . now that is priceless.

Post comments, ask me questions - follow my blog!

*I am licensed in Pennsylvania, which means that if you are a resident of another state, much of what you read here will not apply to your specific work injury situation.  You need to contact an attorney licensed in your own state to discuss your rights as an injured worker.
